Warranty Terms & Conditions:

Australian Portable Toilets Pty Limited (ABN 71 095 982 746) (“we” or “us) warrants that some products (also referred to as “our goods”) will be free from all defects in materials and workmanship for a minimum of 12 months from the date of purchase (“warranty period”).

If a defect arises during the warranty period, Australian Portable Toilets, at its option will:
(1) Repair the product at no charge using new parts or parts that are equivalent to new in performance and reliability.

(2) Exchange the product with a product with equivalent functionality formed from new and/or previously used parts that are equivalent to new in performance and reliability or with your consent, a product that is at least functionally equivalent to the product it replaced.

  • Portable Toilet Accessories & Parts – 12 months
  • Portable Shower – 24 months
  • Trailers – 24 months
  • Waste Tanks – 12 months
  • Vacuum Tanks – 24 months
  • Vacuum Pumps and Accessories – 12 months
  • Urinal Units – 24 months
  • Handwash Stations – 24 months
  • Deodorisers and Cleaners – Excluded

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty excludes damage resulting from abuse, accident, modifications, unauthorized repairs or causes that are not defects in materials and workmanship.
Warranty Options
Australian Portable Toilets will provide warranty service through one or more of the following options:

(i) Carry-in service. You may return your product to an Australian Portable Toilets office location.

(ii) Mail-in service. You may return your product to Australian Portable Toilets Head Office via mail. All freight costs are excluded.

(iii) Do-it-yourself (DIY) parts service. DIY parts service allows you to service your own product. If DIY parts service is available in the circumstances, the following process will apply:

(a) Service where Australian Portable Toilet required return of the replaced product. Australian Portable Toilets may require a credit card authorization as security for the retail price of the replacement product and applicable shipping costs. If you are unable to provide credit card authorization, DIY parts service may not be available to you and Australian Portable Toilets will offer alternative arrangements for service. Australian Portable Toilets will ship a replacement product to you with installation instructions, if applicable, and any requirements for the return of the replaced product or part. If you follow the instructions, Australian Portable Toilets will cancel the credit card authorization, so you will not be charged for the product. If you fail to return the replaced product as instructed or return a replaced product that is ineligible for service, Australian Portable Toilets will charge your credit card for the authorized amount.

(b) Service where Australian Portable Toilets does not require return of the replaced product. Australian Portable Toilets will ship you a replacement product accompanied by instructions or installation, if applicable, and any requirements for the disposal of the replaced product. All freight costs are excluded.

(c) Australian Portable Toilets is not responsible for any labour costs you incur relating to DIY parts service.

Making a Claim

To make a claim under warranty, you must notify us in writing within 7 days of any alleged defect in the product coming to your attention.

Other Conditions

Any benefits available to you under this warranty are in addition to any non-excludable rights or remedies you may have under applicable legislation, including as a “consumer” under the Australian consumer law. To that extent, you need to be aware that:
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the good repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
